The price of the office cleaning service, therefore, must include any item that can be quoted, in addition to applicable taxes.

• Floor and window cleaning: Cleaning floors and window panes is one of the simplest parts of office cleaning, but it must be done correctly. Workplace hygiene is a matter regulated by law. Specifically, it is Royal Decree 486/1997 that sets out the minimum conditions for health and safety at work. Among other recommendations, it recommends eliminating anything that is not necessary to perform the work, avoiding getting things dirty and cleaning up right away, or setting up means and space to store materials.

• Handrail and staircase cleaning: In the case of stairs, it is especially important to ensure the cleaning and disinfection of railings and handrails, as they are contact points with hands that could accumulate germs.
• Elevator cleaning: Special attention should be paid to cleaning and disinfecting the control panel and buttons, as well as the handrail if present. It is also recommended to install a hand sanitizer dispenser in this area.
• Ventilation system cleaning: Mechanical ventilation systems can become a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria. Because of this, their cleaning and disinfection is especially important. In fact, both filters and ventilation ducts must be cleaned and disinfected frequently while ensuring necessary safety conditions. To do this, cleaners must use PPE, masks and gloves during the process.
