By accessing or using the Reformia platform ("Platform"), including our website, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. Reformia reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Services
Reformia operates as a marketplace connecting homeowners with verified home renovation professionals. Our services include project posting, professional matching, competitive bidding, secure escrow payments, in-platform messaging, and price guide information. Reformia does not directly perform renovation work and acts solely as an intermediary between homeowners and professionals.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Reformia reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.
4. Escrow Payments
All payments between homeowners and professionals are processed through our secure escrow system. When a homeowner accepts a bid, funds are held in escrow until the homeowner confirms the work is completed to their satisfaction. Reformia charges a service fee on each transaction, which is disclosed before payment. Funds are released to the professional upon homeowner approval or after the dispute resolution period, whichever comes first.
5. User Conduct
Users must not: post false or misleading information; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system; create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes; post spam or unauthorized advertising; or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws. Professionals must maintain valid licenses and insurance as required by local regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, price guide data, and software, is the property of Reformia or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant Reformia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform's services.
7. Limitation of Liability
Reformia is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by professionals listed on the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of bids, timelines, or price guide information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reformia's total liability shall not exceed the service fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim. Reformia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a homeowner and professional, Reformia offers a mediation service. Both parties agree to participate in good faith in Reformia's dispute resolution process before pursuing external legal remedies. Escrow funds will be held until the dispute is resolved. Any legal disputes with Reformia shall be governed by the laws of Spain and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid.
9. Changes to Terms
Reformia may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
