El precio dependerá del tipo de inmueble y las características de la propia instalación. En general, el certificado de una instalación de gas cuesta alrededor de los 80-90 €.
Hacer una instalación de gas
El tipo de instalación dependerá en buena medida del gas que sirva de combustible. Las de butano son muy sencillas, constan básicamente de un regulador y llaves de paso en los diferentes aparatos, solo si están muy lejos de la bombona habrá que poner tubería de cobre. Una instalación básica podría costar alrededor de los 250 €. En el caso de instalaciones de gas natural (y a veces propano) es necesario llevar canalización desde la red general a los aparatos, generalmente una caldera. Dependiendo de la distancia el precio de la instalación será uno u otro. El coste, de esta manera, puede oscilar entre los 250 y 1.000 €.

Por cambios de uso o de necesidades puede ser imprescindible modificar la instalación de gas. Si se cambia la caldera, la cocina o el calentador de sitio habrá que llevar tuberías hasta ellos. Son trabajos más complejos, ya que no solo hay que poner nuevos tubos, también habrá que desmontar y volver a instalar la caldera o poner una nueva, de modo que el precio puede superar los 800 €. El consejo: pedir varios presupuestos de gas. Hay un tipo de reforma de pequeña importancia y cuyo coste es ínfimo. Es la adaptación de la instalación de un gas a otro, por ejemplo, de propano a natura. En ese caso solo es necesario cambiar unas piezas.

Pero además, es uno de los combustibles más limpios y respetuosos con el medio ambiente.
